Lord of the Rings Marathon!
So some of my friends and I are having a LOTR marathon, watching the extended versions 3 nights in a row. (It’s finals week here, and you have to do things like this during finals week… 
So we watched the Fellowship last night. I know there have to be a lot of LOTR lovers out there… so I want to hear what your favorite scene or quote or whatever is from any of the movies!

Very cool! When we get back from LA we’re planning an all day LOTR marathon! Breakfast and then number one. Lunch and then number two. Dinner and then number three. Can’t wait.
One of my favourite scenes is with the council about half-way through the fellowship where they’re discussing who’s going to destroy the ring. Frodo had just been discussing with Sam about how they wanted to go home, but Frodo steps up and says he’ll do it. I loved the way his choice led to getting everyone else on board in a unified way.

yeah sam, thats totally a great scene! And whoa for you all and your marathon! Are you going to watch the extended versions?
I wonder if your eyes will hurt after that day!

Favourite scene? Probably the easter egg of Jack Black portraying Frodo in the council scene Sam mentions. Raunchy tho, so don’t watch it.

We are going for the extended editions. We’ll probably need to go a week without looking at a screen to recover afterwards!

Well, I like a lot of them, but I’ll be a girl and say the romantic part when Arwen tells Aragorn that she would give up her immortality for one lifetime with him!
I’d say it too to Aragorn!
Arwen: Do you remember when we first met?
Aragorn: I thought I had wandered into a dream.
Arwen: Long years have passed. You did not have the cares you carry now. Do you remember what I told you?
Aragorn: You said you’d bind yourself to me, forsaking the immortal life of your people.
Arwen: And to that I hold. I would rather share one lifetime with you than face all the ages of this world alone.

Arwen: I choose a mortal life.
Aragorn: You cannot give me this.
